Call for papers: Special Issue on Technology in Mathematics Education
LUMAT invites researchers, practitioners, and educators to contribute to the upcoming special issue on Technology in Mathematics Education.
DescriptionTechnological tools play an important role in teaching and studying mathematics. Calculators have aided straightforward computations for many decades, but nowadays curricula more and more demand the use of modern computer programs in school mathematics. However, it is not clear how and at which stage this technology should be implemented in mathematics education. Also, what is the impact of the use of technology on the learning of mathematics? Much more new research in this significant and interesting topic is needed. We welcome contributions from all aspects of the use of technology in mathematics education.
Deadlines and special issue timetable:- Submission deadline (full paper): February 15, 2023
- After the deadline we will implement continuous publication model after peer review and acceptance.
We welcome both empirical as well as theoretical manuscripts in English, Finnish and Swedish.
