From the editor 1_2022

Abstract

This is the sixth issue of the electronic publication Neuropsy Open.  When writing this, it is however difficult to proceed as if nothing unusual has happened.

The military action by Russia in Ukraine has disrupted the security in the whole of Europe. The editors on their part, together with the University of Helsinki, other Finnish universities and their Rectors’ Council, condemn these actions and we want to express our support to Ukraine. We as neuropsychologists also have colleagues in Ukraine. Their safety is what worries us, and their distress is what touches us the most. We have colleagues all across Europe, and we have colleagues also in Russia. It is important to recognize that military actions are governmental operations, colleagues within university or professional communities do not wish to be at war with each other.

We wish strength for Ukraine and the return of peace for Europe.
